That is why The Shade decided to bring the benefits of internet to its home province, Antique. December of 2004 formally marked the opening of The Shade as the first commercial Computer Service Center in Antique. The Shade offers leased-line access to the internet via Smartbro and Globe Communications, Inc., and perhaps the only Internet Cafe in Antique with dual ISP. The Shade also continues to improve its computer product and value added service offerings.
What contributed to The Shade reputation as the most consistently reliable, stable, and proactive computer service center in Antique is the installation of uninterruptible power supply (UPS) with extended batteries and the setting up of backup UPS, the signing up for multiple gateways, the addition of qualified system administrators, the regular upgrading and maintenance of computer equipment and software- these are but a few of the reasons.

History
THE SHADE COMPUTER CENTER officially joined the Internet and service industry in December of 2004 as a sole proprietorship. The registered address of the business is located at Gov. Villavert Street, San Jose, Antique. The small company carried computer sales, office supplies, accessories and service and catered to a number of both individual and private corporate clients. The market steadily became aware of The Shade Computer Center as a reliable and affordable computer service.

Support for Intellectual Property Right
Known for its vision and good service spirit, The Shade decided early on to tread on the path where a few service centers dared to take upon, investing on original software and technical training for its internal use and build a good relationship with the premier suppliers. The Shade acknowledged that software, while intangible, is as valuable as the hardware on which they run. The Shade stuck to this direction of supporting the original software. This innovative vision and sacrifice has paid off with the passage of the Intellectual Property Rights Law.

Present and Future
So where will The Shade be five years hence? The Shade aspires to be globally competitive and hopes to provide new product and service offerings on a global scale. Our products and services will of course still be branded and updated with its unique The Shade trademarks of high level of technical expertise, commitment, dedication, drive and excellence in service.

Technical Expertise
One of The Shade thrust is to maintain a high level of technical expertise. The company thereby invested heavily on continued technical and professional training of its technicians to improve their knowledge on both the hardware and software products it carries. In-house seminars are also organized on a regular basis. All staff members are encouraged to attend outside computer and other related technical seminars and exhibits.
